• For more information on Ice Breakers Frost mints or other Ice Breakers mints and gums, visit www.icebreakers.com

I had the pleasure of reviewing Ice Breakers Frost in Peppermint. I loved it! I love a strong mint that lasts in your mouth after the mint is gone. At first taste, you get the flavor crystals which I think of as a signature of Ice Breakers. When you get to the core, it was refreshing and tingly, just the way I like my mints. The container snaps shut so I know the mints aren't going to fall out all over my purse. I enjoyed this mint and will be purchasing more when I run out.

CSN Store Review - Virginia Tech Tailgate Toss Game

CSN Stores have over 200 online stores selling everything you can possibly think of. I've posted several giveaways and reviews with CSN Stores in the past and have always had a great experience with quality products and customer service. This review was no different.

When I say CSN Stores sells everything, I mean it. They include furniture, toys, home improvement, lighting and more. My review came just in time for the holidays and I wanted to review something that I knew my family would really enjoy. If you follow my blog you know Dear Hubby and I are both Virginia Tech alumni and love our Hokies. I was sooo excited when I found the Virginia Tech Tailgate Bean Bag Toss Game at CSN Stores. We already love playing this game but to have it as our beloved Hokies made it so much better.

I ordered this product online and it was an easy process. I was surprised how fast my order was shipped. It came packaged tightly and undamaged in a matter of days. The product itself was made of great quality. The boards are strong and sturdy which is nice because I can already see J and L trying to run up them. The colors are bright and vibrant and are the right shade of our Hokie colors. As it warms up outside we are all very excited to play our new game.

I have worked with CSN Stores several times now and have always had consistently great experiences. I recommend you checking them out next time you're looking for...well just about anything.

EZSOX Review & GIVEAWAY

The "I Can Do It!" sox

The unique EZSox design makes a great training sock for little ones. J wants to do everything for himself and putting on his socks and shoes is no exception. He's been good at putting on his socks but needs help making them straight. When you wear all white socks it makes it hard to know which way is up.

Cute animal faces act as a guide, showing kids which way is up. Reinforced loops give tiny fingers a strong grip for pulling over tiny toes and non-skid bottoms make EZ SOX safer on slippery surfaces. EZSox are even made seamless for sensitive little toes.

EXSox come in a variety of cute animals and solid colors so your little ones can choose their favorites. We were able to review both the green frog and brown teddy bear designs. J was so excited to see the frog because his favorite color is green. He couldn't wait to put the socks on himself. The loops made it easy for him to pull them on. He was able to know which way was up thanks to the frog's face. I didn't have to straighten them out for him. It may not sound like much but one less thing for me to do as we're rushing out the door makes a world of difference. It's also a nice bonus that the socks are nice and soft.

One lucky Oh My Baby reader will WIN their choice of EZSox. Simply leave your comment by 11:59pm EST on Jan 18, 2011. US addresses only please

Kringle-Spiced Pringles Cookie Review

Consider mixing-up your traditional holiday cookie batch this year with a recipe using Pringles crisps. Below is an original recipe for Kringle-Spiced Pringles Cookies, created by professional Chef Kyle Shadix. This sandwich cookie combines the savory crunch of Pringles Original Potato crisps with a sweet and zesty jam to create a winning substitute for the boring ginger cookie

Kringle-Spiced Pringles Cookies by Chef Kyle Shadix

Yield: 2 dozen sandwich cookies

1 can Pringle's "The Original"

1 cup all-purpose flour

· 1 teaspoon baking soda

· 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

· 1 teaspoon allspice

· 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

· 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened

· 1 cup dark brown sugar, packed

· 1 egg

· 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

· 1 cup fruit preserves, raspberry or mixed berry

· 1/3 cup crystallized ginger, finely chopped

Directions

1. Preheat the oven at to 350 degrees and place Pringles, flour, baking soda, and spices in a food processor, and puree until the consistency of corn meal; set aside.

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until slightly fluffy.

3. Add the egg and vanilla, and mix for 30 seconds.

4. Pour the Pringles spice mixture into the bowl and mix for 1 minute; place dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

5. Drop by rounded teaspoon onto ungreased baking sheets, and bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.

6. In a small bowl, combine fruit preserves and ginger (if desired, ginger is optional); spread 1 teaspoon onto a cookie, and top with another cookie. Instead of crystallized ginger can swap out 2 teaspoons of powdered ginger to the jam.

I had the chance to review these Kringle-Spiced Pringles Cookies and I have to say I was very surprised...in a good way. I knew I already loved Pringles and the thought of them in a cookie was pretty strange but I figured why not? They were moist and soft yet had a little crunch from the Pringles. The jam gave it the perfect amount of sweetness. I knew Dear Hubby wouldn't try them if I told him they were made of chips so I offered him some without telling him the surprise ingredient. He liked them and said they reminded him of the holidays because of the spice flavor.

Follow the recipe above and try them for yourselves!

"When it comes to starting off your day right, a new survey from Kix found that 84 percent of parents turn to cereal with milk for a quick and healthy breakfast.

Cereal is one of the healthiest breakfast choices parents can make. Ready-to-eat cereal has fewer calories than almost any other common breakfast option, while also being nutrient-dense and convenient. In addition, cereal eaters consume less cholesterol and more fiber than non-cereal eaters.

The "Kid-Tested Mother-Approved®"cereal is made with whole grain corn and is an excellent source of iron. It also is a good source of calcium, fiber, and Vitamins C and D. Original Kix has no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

To find out more, visit the recently launched Kix website, http://www.kixcereal.com/, featuring background on the history of Kix, nutritional content, and special offers"

My kids were so excited when our review prize pack arrived. It included a 24-piece counting-themed floor puzzle, fun learn-to-count flashcards, a sippy cup, a portable snack container and a box each of Original Kix and Honey Kix cereal. The boys were already fans of Kix cereal but had not tried the Honey Kix Cereal before. They love it! They both like it as a snack without milk too. J was thrilled with the floor puzzle as well. He's put that thing together countless times and he's even nice enough to let L play with it sometimes too.

Betty Crocker Instant Mashed Potatoes Review & GIVEAWAY

I had a rough afternoon. It started with my own doctor's appointment then L came down with a 103 degree fever. Needless to say, back to the doctor's office. By the time I got home that day, I had less than an hour before Dear Hubby was coming home from work to make dinner. I threw some chicken breasts on the grill but was at a loss for any sides. Luckily I had just received a Betty Crocker gift pack that included two instant mashed potatoes. I normally make mashed potatoes from scratch and that can take some time.

I whipped up the creamy butter flavored instant mashed potatoes. The process was so simple. Boiling the water was the longest step. My potatoes took a little less than 10 mins from start to finish. The potatoes were creamy, buttery and tasted homemade.

Betty Crocker's instant mashed potatoes are made with 100% real potatoes. They come in a variety of flavors such as Creamy Butter, Roasted Garlic and Au Gratin.

One Oh My Baby reader will WIN a prize pack that includes two boxes of Betty Crocker Boxed Instant Mashed Potatoes (one Roasted Garlic and one Homestyle Creamy Butter), a serving bowl, a trivet and a serving spoon. Leave your comment by 11:59pm EST on December 1, 2010. U.S. addresses only please.

Shout Go Play Review

I do not enjoy doing laundry. I'm not sure there is anyone who does. The worst part of laundry are the stains. Between my two kids and dear hubby, the stains are endless. J is going to a new preschool this year that requires uniforms. They're an easy ensemble of navy or white embroidered polo shirts and navy or khaki pants/shorts. I think it should be a rule everywhere that young children should not wear white. J is only in school for 3 hours a day yet manages to ruin his clothes like he's been wearing them for a week straight. The first time I dressed him in a white polo shirt, he came home with green and blue markers streaks and dirt patches all over it. I can't just bleach it because the school's embroidered emblem is a different color.

Lucky me, I recently received a Shout Go Play pack from Growing Tree Toys, online retailer for learning toys and Shout. My review pack included Shout Triple Acting Spray, Shout Color Catcher Sheets and 52 Nature Activities Card Set.

I followed the instructions on the Shout Triple Acting Spray by spraying the stains, rubbing it in and letting it set for 10 mins before starting the wash. I was thrilled when the cycle was finished, the stains where completely gone.

Shout understands how important outdoor play is for children and has started a Go Play Initiative - which emphasizes the value of play for children. The 52 Nature Activities Card Set is a great item that helps promote play and imagination for children of all ages.

We received both the Squeeze Bottle and Neti Bottle to review. Between the pollen, dog hair and just everyday particles in the air, sometimes we get a little stuffed up. The SinuSense bottles were easy to use. The water flow wasn't uncomfortable and even J likes trying it himself...with our supervision of course. Each bottle came with soothing saline easy-pour packs to add to the water. We did notice we were breathing a little easier after each use.

Perdue Whole Grain Chicken Nuggets Review & GIVEAWAY

Perdue recently released its latest line of frozen chicken made with 100% whole grain breading. PERDUE Frozen Fully Cooked whole grain breaded chicken is made with 100% white meat and features the Whole Grains Council stamp and provides 4 grams of daily fiber per serving. The line includes Whole Grain Chicken Breast Nuggets, Whole Grain Chicken Breast Strips and Whole Grain Chicken Breast Tenders.

PERDUE® Whole Grain chicken products are packaged in easy-open and close zipper bags so you can use what you need and save the rest for later. These products are an excellent source of protein for mealtime or a snack.

My boys love chicken nuggets! Frankly, I don't know a single kid who doesn't. I have always bought them Perdue chicken nuggets because of the all white meat. When I was asked to try to Perdue's Whole Grain nuggets, I jumped at the chance. I was lucky enough to receive a back-to-school dinner pack that included several bags of Perdue Whole Grain Chicken Nuggets, Crayola Crayons (96-count) and a baking sheet.

I made them for lunch one day and wanted to see if J would notice a difference in taste. I always try new food before feeding it to the kids. I took a bite and I have to admit, I like these whole grain nuggets better than the original. They were juicy and had a great flavor. We are strictly white meat chicken eaters and these were truly white meat. There weren't any weird dark spots in any of the nuggets. Then the real test, the boys. I gave them each several to eat. They both gobbled them down without any hesitation. J even came back asking for more.

Want to try them for yourself? One lucky Oh My Baby reader will WIN 2 coupons, each for a free Perdue Frozen Fully Cooked Chicken product of your choice. Leave your comment by 11:59 pm EST on Oct 8th. U.S. addresses only please.

It provides kids with an easy and fun way to learn the phonics skills that lead to reading and spelling success."

J loves music! He always has. Even at 4 years old, he's already memorizing song lyrics from the radio. I knew Rock 'N Learn would be a great alternative then the traditional books and worksheets. I must say these DVDs came in handy when we went on what was supposed to be a 2 hour car ride that turned into 4 hours. These were a lifesaver! We were all singing the AEIOU song. The characters are entertaining and the songs are catchy. They were easy to sing along without realizing you were learning. These Rock 'N Learn DVDs were truly enjoyable.

One lucky Oh My Baby reader will WIN their own copy of Rock 'N Learn Phonics Volume 1 DVD. Simply leave your comment by 11:59 pm EST on September 16th. Winner will have 48 hours to respond or a new winner will be chosen. U.S. and Canada Addresses only please.
